Meet Alexa...

Here she is, looking and feeling amazing! 
The biggest surprise? 
While she only dropped a few pounds on the scale,
she lost inches all over the place! 

Remember, muscle weighs more than fat, 
but it takes up less space. 


"Oh, my hips don't lie..."

And you ain't seen nothin' yet. 
Alexa is just warming up for her hottest summer body ever! 
Her goal: Tank top arms all year long!


Lost 5.5% body fat
Gained 9% lean muscle
Decrease in metabolic age from 43 to 32 
Reduced visceral fat 
2" waist from waist
1.5" from hips 
1" from thighs
1" from calves

And definition in obliques & biceps!!!

After just 3 weeks of training, 

check her out:


2" off her waist
1 1/2" off her hips
1" off her back

1/2" off her thighs
1/2" off her calves


All with just 2.2 pounds of weight loss 
BECAUSE 
Alexa dropped 5% of her body fat, replacing it with lean muscle 
(Which weighs more than fat). 
The results: 
Alexa traded in flab for abs, 
tightened her torso, 
and buffed up her biceps!

Shock and Shred Those Shoulders

The results are in for Week 2!

Alexa had a powerful week of training.
And then life happened. 
People turned 40 and 60 and babies needed showers 
and Saint Patrick needed... 
Well, you know how it goes, right? 
It was a weekend of celebration! 
There's NOTHING wrong with enjoying all of it. 
And she did.

Despite this, Alexa still managed to lose a pound, AND check this out:
 2" off her waist
1" off her hips
    1/4" off her back
      1/2" off her calves


      Yeah, THAT's how hard she worked last week...
Now today, today was brutal 
(Isn't that right, Alexa?)

But thing that was different about today 
was that usually, after a weekend of celebration, 
there is a week of Remorse or Recovery or Rebellion.



Instead, we must recognize that there are times when we can't be so regimented, 
The mistake is not in having the cake or drinking the toast or skipping the gym for the weekend. 
You haven't failed or regressed. 
It's only when Monday morning comes and you "forget" that the party is over that you start to dismantle your efforts.
Get back up on the bench, baby!
Ready, set, sweat!

These Boots Were Made for Jumpin'!
Here's just a few minutes of Alexa in 
Rok Boot Camp, 
a high intensity interval training class 
that alternates between step, Bosu, 
plyometrics, and leg, glutes and core drills. 
I am exhausted just describing it!

Tabata Rok Full Body Blast
Alexa and her kick-butt companions at the Rok in East Rockaway, NY performed the following:
Eight 60 second conditioning drills followed by a 90 second high intensity cardio blast-1 round
Eight 45 second conditioning drills followed by a 90 second high intensity cardio blast-1 round 
 Eight 30 second conditioning drills followed by a 90 second high intensity cardio blast-3 rounds
Calories burned: 650!

Here's Alexa, crushing 
Side Squat Knee Lifts!

Today, Alexa weighed in and got measured. Gotta know where you're starting from! Alexa is strong but would like to get some definition in her arms and abs. 

Our LorCore Lower Blowout workout today focused on getting her heart rate up to burn up body fat and targeted her legs, glutes and core, with a dose of shoulders and chest thrown in for good measure (literally!)

Here's what I LOVE about this girl: She leads with action, not excuses. Alexa is extremely coachable, determined to have results, and willing to push past her comfort zone.

Watch for her progress this week. She will inspire you!
